Welcome
to the Cardinal Hills Homeowners Association
Units 5 & 11 thru 16

Several neighbors and I have come together to start a homeowners association.
It all started earlier last year when a bar tried to open in our
neighborhood. This was
unacceptable, because of the safety concerns and our property values and
families.
It was unacceptable to have someone decided to change the direction of our
neighborhood just to line his own pockets.
This is a neighborhood designed to house
families in homes. We purchased
here with the understanding that our property would be protected through the
deed restrictions. The same
restrictions currently filed and recorded at the county courthouse. These deed restrictions are very
enforceable but it’s up to the homeowners to enforce them.
No one wants someone else to tell them how to live. But, when an individual or a handful of
individuals do not respect their neighbors or abide by the deed restrictions. They are making a clear that the only
hope we have of protecting our property is through the legal system, (i.e. our
County and Federal Government).
Upon speaking with them to try and come to a friendly understanding; these individual
make it clear that they will not adhere to the restrictions just because they
don’t feel than have to. They believe that because they have more money
than their neighbors that, that puts them above the rules.
.
It’s time to stand up, and tell these people NO! NO!; you just can’t do whatever you want
without any regard to the property owners property value or the safety of our
neighborhood.
So, if you care about the value of your own land, then come join this fight. Fight for your neighborhood, fight for the value of your property, your future and your children’s future. Look inside yourselves and determine are you part of the solution or, are you part of the problem.
You need to be aware that there is no such thing as a grandfather clause where the restrictions are concerned. Just because someone has been doing things wrong for twenty years, does not make it right or legal. It just means they no one has cared to complain or start doing something about it.
We understand that no one really wants a Home Owners Association.
But if we do not act soon we will all be the living in an industrial park. Our investments into our houses and property will have no hope of selling some day at a profit.
There is so much more to talk about but there is not enough time or room on this page for it all.
So please visit our official website. www.cardinalhillsassoc.com.
Just follow the link, you can
read the entire letter sent out previously to stopping the bar.
UPDATE:
We stopped that property owner from getting a liquor license and having beer trucks and drunks running up and down our residential streets. Thanks to all of the neighbors that stood up and said No, we where able to convince the owners not to continue with their plans.
Now, we have another property
owner that has added another commercial building. He even got a permit to build
under false pretenses. He applied for a permit for a single family dwelling and
put up a tin building for commerical purposes.
Showing complete disregard of our
restrictions and the legal system. This can not be tolerated. Becoming a member of this Home Owners
Association it is strictly voluntary.
We are on the job fighting to get these new concerns cleared up and resolved to the satisfaction of the restrictions and the property owners needs. Help us. Stand up and do something.
Join our association. No dues required at this time. We need voices, and people that care.
Thank you for your time.
